Airport : The international airport of Plaisance is situated near the village of Mahebourg on the south east coast of the island, 45 km away from Port-Louis the capital of Mauritius.
Hotel: 1 hour drive by taxi from the airport. The hotel is situated between the village of Belle Mare and Trou d'eau douce, on the east coast of Mauritius.
Formalities: Visitors passports must be valid for 6 months after their return date
Currencies : Mauritian Rupees (Rs)
Money : ATM's are available in almost all villages around the island. Visa and Mastercard are accepted everywhere. Diners Club card and American Express are accepted in most hotels. Rupees cannot be exchanged in any other countries.
Climate: The hot, wet season is mostly during the period of November through to April. The dry period is from June to September. We recommend that you take at least one item of clothing with long sleeves for cold evenings and air-condition areas, plus an umbrella and raincoat.
